Albrecht Heidemann Clinic
Albrecht Heidemann is a respected Clinician in Canada and United States who has brought numerous titles to the Canadian Young rides team over the past 10 years. Albrecht apprenticed with Dr. Joseph Neckermann and Conrad Schumacher for more than ten years.
He was a member of the gold medal winning German Young Riders Team at the time when Conrad Schumacher with the Trainer. Following time spent coaching in the USA he returned to Germany and assisited Mr Schumacher with coaching in Germany, Mexico, and Ireland, as well as making regular visits to the USA In 2001 Albrecht became involved in the launch and success of Canada’s Dressage FYRST (Future Young Riders Select Training) Club developed by Ros Farber. |
| He has been their clinician and team Canada coach while continuing to travel bi-monthly across Canada and the United States giving clinic to young riders and their coaches. Albrecht Heidemann is spending the winter of 2010-2011 with numerous clients competing on the Florida show circuit. He will be flying to us on Vancouver island with stops in California and Vancouver to teach on his way. |

Bonny Bonnello

Bonny Bonnello started riding at age 4, and was introduced to dressage at 13. In the mid 70’s she travelled to Germany for training and in 1978, she purchased the Grand Prix horse ‘Satchmo”. With Satchmo, she became a member of the Canadian team representing Canada at the alternate Olympics in Goodwood, England in 1980. In 1981, she trained with Johan Hinnemann preparing for the 1982 World Championships in Switzerland where she placed 12th. In 1984, Bonny competed for Canada at the LA Olympic Summer Games. She also won the Canadian Grand Prix Championship in the same year.
In 1986 Bonny competed in the Small Tour of the World Championships with Falstaff . They won the team silver medal. After 1986, Bonny was without a top level horse until 2004. In 2004, Bonny along with co-owner Jean Bell purchased Pikardi, a Canadian Warmblood. Over the past 5 years, Bonny and Pikardi have moved up the levels showing in Oregon, California, Eastern and Western Canada.
In the summer of 2009, they started showing Grand Prix and in November of 2009 Bonny declared her intentions to try to qualify to represent Canada at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky in September 2010. Pikardi and Bonny travelled to Florida to train with Robert Dover, the Candian Dressage Coach and to earn her qualifying scores for the World Equestrian Games.
She competed in several CDI’s in Florida and one at the Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky where she placed 3rd in the Grand Prix and 2nd in the Grand Prix Special. Pikardi and Bonny qualified for the European Tour which took place in May-July taking in four shows, including Rotterdam where the Canadian Team won the Bronze Medal. Bonny qualified to represent Canada at WEG, qualifying 3rd of the four member team. Canada finished 7th at the Games, the highest placing ever! |

Country Lane Stables is pleased to present Georges Malléroni from Portugal Georges has been the director of the Alcainca School of Equitation in Portugal for over 25 years where students of dressage from all over the world come to learn beginner to “Haute Ecole” movements on impeccably trained schoolmasters. Georges has studied under the Master of the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, Don Jose Athayde. Focused on the classical way of riding Georges also follows the inspiration of Nuno Olivier with whom he also trained with for years. He now carries on the classical dressage traditions set down by Nuno Olivier and other past masters of the art.
Georges is well known for his clinics in the France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and the United States. He is known to have a keen assessment of both horse and rider thereby helping to resolve problem situations and alleviate hours of frustration for both horse and rider. His focus is on the ancient classical techniques combined with modern bio-mechanical perspectives. Georges shows a rare ability to put forth his ideas and concepts to riders in a generous, kind and positive manner, always keeping the well-being of the horse in mind. |
